$ 29.01

Availability: 100 in stock
  • Condition: Condition: This has common wear for its age, surface scratches on bottom. See the last 3 pictures- 1 tooth on the top rim is chipped and about half of the tooth is missing(a glass repair pro can round that out to make it look nice and blend in if desired.) But the handle does have the heat check fracture on the top area of where it is attached seen on many handled pieces these days. Therefore the handle is still firmly attached on the lower half on the connected area, but great care should be used to keep it from further issues.

    Description

    This is a Gorgeous Antique Tankard / Pitcher
    Measurements:  Pitcher is very tall at 10-1/2" tall  Rim by 4-1/2" wide by 5-1/2" wide with spout.  6-1/4" wide base.  Extremely thick handle and glass so it is very heavy.
    It is from the American brilliant period, (late 1800's to 1915). the buzzstars/pinwheels tend to be from the later half of the period which is still over 100 years old now!
    The pitcher has the added wedge step cut lip and punty cut handle for extra bling!  It has a Buzzstar pattern but the pattern is unique and probably has a name and is more rare than your common buzzstar motifs.  Note the thick section off double miters crossing all around with the file notching in the middle of the miters, and the buzzstars are cut to fill in the sections completely making the Diamond shaped instead of Round buzzstars, this is quite unique.
    Condition: This has common wear for its age, surface scratches on bottom.
