1795 Dwarf Circus Token Choice UNC
This is a real dandy! It comes graded by NGC as MS 62 Brown, but it has lots of original red luster remaining on glossy surfaces.
Finding this issue with any amount of red is tough.
The edge is plain, DH-315c, Middlesex.
This is a very popular token for circus and sideshow collectible collectors.
It is one of the earliest such collectible too.
The obverse shows an image of a dwarf with the inscription,
"Sir Jeffery Dunstan Mayor of Garrat."
The reverse reads, "To be had at the Curiosity House City Road,
Near Finsbury Square, London."
