    Description

    This is an Antique Compote.
This is 7" tall by 5" wide top rim by 3-3/4" base.
It is from the American brilliant period, (late 1800's to 1915). the florals tend to be from the later half of the period when most of the remaining glass cutting houses were using figured blanks and adding their own floral cut or borders.  Which is a little over 100 years old now!
This has the cut sawtooth rim and a Gang wheel cut Daisy like florals with clear wedge leaves.  This is an alternating motif with the sectioned cane motif border and bottom has a large flower gang wheel cut in it..    The stem is also notch cut on the edges of the facet panels for added bling.
Condition: this is pre-owned and old, it has rim wear common for this type of glassware like scratches on bottom from age.  But I see no missing teeth on the rim or any rim damage at all so it looks fantastic.  No unsightly chips or cracks.
