Description
I have an American Brilliant Period cut glass pitcher ca. 1875-1895 in very good condition, there's one small dent on the sterling top (pictured), and I found three tiny chips on the cut body, also a flaw in-the-making on the applied handle not a chip see the last picture. There are no big chips or cracks. The top sterling spout grapevine band shows quality in the details, has the letters AJCG in Art Nouveau font and has a 20 point cut Hob-star at the bottom. The cut body looks similar to Dorflinger & Sons Inc. White Mills Pa. but I'm not sure who made this gorgeous pitcher.
This item measures 10 inches tall, 7 inches from spout to handle, 4 5/8 inches bottom base, also weights 5 pounds.
Do not miss out on this item for the discriminating collector.
