    Description

    Truly rare find! This is a fabulous strand of old African burnt amber beads, made by Ethiopian tribesmen. Each bead has a unique pattern. "African amber" is not a true Baltic amber, but usually a natural copal or phenolic resin that was made into beads in Africa.
    20" long, 22 - 24 mm beads, with old bauxite spacers. The necklace closes with real Baltic amber toggle bead.
