This is the first box I have seen with its original, beveled mirror intact. The mirror moves as it should.  I believe this is from the C.F. Monroe Company.  Pattern unknown.  The mirror is in the typical condition for a 100+ year old glass. When moisture gets into the back of mirrors, small black areas can form.  Normal wear on the base. This mirror has a few black areas.  The glass is fine condition. Only one tiny nip on the top.  There are no major issues with this piece.  The rim around the box looks like it could have had gold paint added to it.  The hinge is tight on the box.
