Description
DESCRIPTIONThis is my personal item. This is a beautiful American brilliant pinwheel sawtooth design crystal bowl. It was made during the American Brilliant Period (ABP) in the early 20th century. Cut glass fell out of fashion during WWI when people thought it was frivolous to have such glass when so many people had little. A few companies went out of business and or quit selling the pieces. This glass has an interesting history, to say the least.
It is approximately 8 1/2" wide at the widest point to about 8 1/4" on the other side. This bowl weighs about 4 pounds 2 ounces. While I was examining it under high light, I discovered inside the bowl near the side there is a tiny ding, and a line that can be felt on either side of the tiny ding. There is a small line on the other side too. Neither are deep and I had to use the tip of my nail to feel it. I am not sure whether it was from manufacturing or from being used over the years. I did not notice this until I put it under a strong light. I have owned this bowl since 1978, and it was given to me by a family member who had it for decades. For the most part except for the early years, it has been stored and if displayed it was in a china cabinet. Overall, this is a beautiful bowl and in really good condition for its age.
This is a heavy piece and shipping large flat rate box is the least expensive and the most efficient method of shipping.
I do my best when I take pictures and upload to be as accurate as possible to the true colors. However the color settings on your monitor may skew the color and of course is beyond my control.

PAYMENT
Buyers now have more payment options (credit, debit, and gift cards; Apple Pay; Google Pay; PayPal and PayPal Credit). No separate PayPal account required.
MISCELLANEOUS INFORMATION
I get some questions about the shopping cart. Once you load things in your shopping cart you can ask for an invoice. Ebay says the button is just to the right of your user name and the button says, 'request total'.
If your Paypal account is linked to your eBay account when you click on the submit transaction button, it will be immediately debited it from your account. If it is not linked, then you can request an invoice.
If both your accounts are linked and you have to pay the entire shipping, have no fear as I ALWAYS refund the difference in shipping.
RETURNS
Returns are only accepted if the item is not as described.
