    Description

This is for a gorgeous Bowl.  Serving bowl size and shape- great design for display too.
Signed in the center Hawkes.  It has a wheel cut & engraved floral, bows and thick lines motif.
Measures: 8" wide top rim, 3-1/2" tall
It is from the American brilliant period, (late 1800's to 1915). This piece would be from c.1900 to 1920 period
Condition: This is over 100 years old but in decent condition for the age.
It has a tiny little pin size mark on the top of the flat rim, it looks like a tiny crush point that fractured the glass but did not chip or fleabite out.  It is only a tiny area visible but did not actually chip. See last photo, it causes no issues.
Also due to age this glass develops surface scratches on the bottom which is common and on the inside bottom.
