    Description

    This listing is for an antique African dowry necklace. The necklace is made of braided black string and is embellished with 25 charms or fetishes of glass beads, seed pods, animal teeth, old coins, shells and beads. Some of the caps have hammered tin caps and some are attached to the string by brass jump rings.
    The black braided cord measures 26" long and the center tooth charm is 1 5/8" long.
    Condition: There is one charm missing-the hammered tin cap is present but it is empty.
