The Aurora Firenze Pen is finished in red resin the heraldic color of the Italian city. On the barrel you’ll find the flor de lis, Florence’s representative symbol. The cap is finished with sterling silver trims which are engraved to represent some of the most impressive artistic monuments in Florence. The David of Michaelangelo, the Uffizi tower, and Santa Maria del Fiore’s Cathedral. The pen comes with a solid 18k gold nib and includes Aurora’s hidden reservoir piston filler. This is an authentic and genuine product from Aurora to the best of my knowledge. The Gold on this pen has been tested with the 18k acid solution and passed. Does not include the box or papers. The ink reservoir is also empty and of course will require a refill to function.
