    Description

    Utmost Quality with Intricately and Deep Cut Stars an Antique Brilliant Period Cut Glass Napoleon Hat shaped Bowl.
    By Straus In the “Golden Rod” Pattern. Note Unmarked, but catalog images confirms attribution.
    The Straus cutting house was a prime ABCGP maker and often retailed at the original Macy’s stores in the early 20th century. Ca 1900.
    Blank is 1/2" thick and weighs 5.5 lbs

    PREOWNED ANTIQUE CONDITION : NEAR MINT 9.5/10
    All rim sawtooths are in very good original beveled and rounded condition, one rounded edge on end has a flea bite on it’s top edge surface. We noticed also note three area base cuttings have very shallow and small impact bruising to their edges; age characteristic for this type of heavy antique glass. See photo closeups
