Description
Gorgeous McKee Innovations American Cut Glass Water Bowl.I believe pattern is 410 c. 1916-1920.
It is approximately 7 3/4" wide, 3 1/2 high".
This bowl is quite heavy.
It was previously owned and is in great condition.
No chips, cracks or breaks . There are some light scratches on the bottom of the bowl.
A mixture of EAPG and Brilliant, the “Innovation Cut Glass Line” was launched in 1916, and could be considered the forerunner of Elegant Glass, whose era began in 1920.
Each piece started out as mold-pressed glass. Then, McKee used hand wheel cutting to create the floral motifs that had been made famous on American Brilliant glassware.
This item comes from an estate and is being sold for a client.
This lovely bowl has been wrapped and stored in a hutch for at least 40 years.
