  • Condition: The bowl is free of chips, cracks and repairs. I can't find a single fleabite on the rim or pattern, which is fantastic as most ABP pieces have at least one tiny nick from storage or display. There are no notable marks or scratches from use or storage. The highest points of the bottom have slight shelf wear as expected. The cuts are exquisite, well planned and superbly executed. The glass is crystal clear with superb light reflection and a slight green glow under UV light. The blank is blown and highly polished with amazing bell like resonance when tinged. There are no flaws or bubbles in the glass.

    The Royal pattern was one of Hunt's most popular cut patterns featuring deep cut Russian Canterbury with hobstars and fine cut geometric designs covering the entirety of the piece. The bowl shape is usually called a sauce, nappy or saucer depending on the collector. It's a beautiful bowl with amazing eye appeal and will make a great addition to any ABP collection or on it's own.
