- This contains the name of farmer, spouse with her
maiden
name, name of children, how many acres he farms, if he owns or rents the land and the year he moved to the county. Often this is the year the farmer was born.

for banks, auto dealers, furniture stores, lumber companys, hardware stores, drug stores, clothiers, livestock dealers, doctors and more. Some of the ads are illustrated with photos.
Breeders Directory
- in order by type of livestock.
Silo Owner's Directory
Automobile Owner's Directory
- Find if your ancestor was a Ford, Maxwell, Overland or Studebaker fan.
Tractor Owner's Directory
- was it a Case, Moline or maybe a Hart-Parr?

Jackson county is in southern Illinois and contains the following towns Ava, Campbell Hill, Carbondale, De Soto, Dowell, Elkville, Gorham, Grand Tower, Makanda, Murphysboro and Vergennes.
Williamson also in southern Illinois contains the following towns Bush, Cambria, Carterville, Colp, Crainville, Creal Springs, Energy, Herrin, Hurst, Johnston City, Marion, Pittsburg, Corinth, Crab Orchard, Crenshaw, Dewmaine, Dykersburg, Lake of Egypt, No. 9, Paulton, Pulley's Mill, Spillertown and Whiteash.
