Description

Very sharp, sepia-toned real photo postcard of the Hotel Multnomah, 319 SW Pine Street, Portland, Oregon, circa 1912, by the Pacific Photo Co. The caption reads: "Cost ,000,000 - Largest and Most Magnificent Hostelry in the Northwest." There are many great early automobiles, an awesome two-horse wagon/carriage, a sign for "Buffet," and, on the right, a corner store beneath the hotel housing the "Canadian Pacific Railway" office. The Multnomah opened in 1912 and took up an entire city block. In very good condition -- minor corner/edge wear; small spot in left sky area. Please see scans.
