    Description

Hawkes Low 8" Bowl w/ Flowers & Leaves
I could not find a pattern name for this signed Hawkes cut glass bowl. The bowl is in nice condition with only some light scratches or wear marks on or near the bottom base. The bowl has flowers and leaves trailing around the bowl with what looks like bars with balls at the ends and vertical spears.  The top rim has a notched scalloped design. The bowl is 8" across and is a little bit over 2" high at the rim and is not the heavy thick cut glass. The Hawkes mark is very easy to see in the center of the bowl.  I have a heavy unsigned Hawkes table pitcher in the rare Teutonic pattern on another listing. Unfortunately it has a chip on the spout.  This listing is for the bowl pictured above. It weighs about 1 pound.
