SIGNED LIBBEY ENGRAVED GLASS MINI-COMPOTE or CANDY DISH – GORGEOUS
This auction is for the signed
LIBBEY
glass piece pictured above. ((PLEASE NOTE: The first picture was taken indoors under artificial light, while the remaining pictures were taken outdoors under natural light.))
I don’t know if this is a small compote, an individual candy dish or a sherbet – or has some other purpose. If you are looking at this listing; you know much more about it than I do.
It measures 3 ½” tall, 5 1/16” across the top and 3” across the base that has a perfectly round and perfectly centered polished pontil. It does exhibit a fair amount of old wear.
The bowl is decorated with florals, ferns and a “drapery” pattern. The “Mae West” shape stem has a row of small, engraved “dots” encircling it and the base has engraved florals that encircle it.

This piece is in “as made” condition with absolutely no scratches, chips, cracks, fleas, damage, repairs or problems of any kind!
NONE OF MY PICTURES ARE “RETOUCHED” – YOU SEE EXACTLY WHAT THE CAMERA SEES!  (Any white spots are reflections and not damage.)
