From a large wide strip chart recorder many years ago;
I do not remember the manufacturer... Loved the
mechanism enough to keep it all these years.
About 6x6x5 inches OD and weighs 5.3 pounds.
Material is iron / steel. Please inspect the pictures.
Seems to still be in working condition - could be used
as part of a machine or arty display item. Input to
output ratio is selected by 9 position lever which
moves side to side when lifted from main gear train
and then put down on a new gear location.
