    Description

    Antique American Brilliant Period  Cut Glass Bowl
    Up for auction is a superb antique American Brilliant Period cut glass bowl.
    Possibly unsigned Libbey, Tithill or similar.
    It measures 8" in diameter by 4-1/8" high.
    The blank is a full 3/8" thick and weighs in at a hefty 4 pounds 2 ounces.
    The body is cut with groups of four notched prisms with feathered ends.
    These alternate with patterns of elaborately cut intaglio
    flowers, berries, stems and leaves.
    The bowl is in excellent antique condition with great clarity, a high ring, and no chipped or missing teeth.
    The most I could find were a few super-tiny edge nicks, shown enlarged below.
    A particularly beautiful example of American Brilliant Period cut glass.
    Starting rock-bottom, and selling, as always with No Reserve.
