Description
Description and Condition:Here is a very fine ABP compote that search as much as I could not find who made it. The water white blown blank could not be finer, and the cutting and hand polishing is top quality. One clue as to who made this is the fan cutting that divides the hobstars. Notice that the bottom of each fan is a row of four small shooting stars! This quirky touch strongly suggests to me that this was produced by Wm. C. Anderson's American Cut Glass Co. either in Chicago or Lansing. Another clue is the very unusual cutting on the stem. This is vertically cut with four concave rounds on four sides, and this helps magnify the long vertical air trap at the center or the stem.
This compote is in excellent original condition. I could find no issues after careful inspection. It stands 9 inches high and is 6.25 inches diameter. This piece blacklights to confirm ABP glass.

Final Comment:
Better grab this compote as I doubt you will ever see another one! Reasonable offers will be considered. But please don't poison the well with half price offers.
