  • Condition: OLD GEARS FROM A BULK BAG. GEARS HAVE HEAVY PATINA. THE ONE IN THE PICTURES WAS CLEANED IN LESS THAN 2 MINUTES WITH A WIRE WHEEL AND 600 GRIT SANDPAPER.(SEE PICTURES) IT WILL BE THE FIRST ONE THAT SELLS. THESE ARE OLD BUT HAVE NEVER BEEN USED BECAUSE THERE IS NO WAY TO FIX IT TO A SHAFT YET. (SET SCREW, PIN, SOLDER ETC.)

    Please note that these were rescued out of failing torn dirty packaging (SEE PICS)and are now stored with care in a dehumidified environment with desiccant packs.
    Please note that over the years a patina has formed on the gears as can be seen in the detailed photographs. Please note that this discoloration in no way affects the performance of the gears or the geometry of the tooth meshing.
    YOU ARE BUYING A DARK COLORED GEAR WITH PATINA LIKE IN PICTURES 9 AND 10. THE SHINY ONE IS THE ONE THAT I CLEANED.
    These gears are considered to be new old stock. These gears came in a very large horde of gears.
    Please note that when I mail these they are individually bagged or rolled in foam or paper to prevent scratching and or damage to the teeth. These are nice to have for custom clock building, slot cars, model railroad and other hobbies.
