Vintage Arcadia White or Off White WELLER Pottery Vase
Weller's "Arcadia", produced from the mid-to-late 1930’s, was another of the pottery's efforts that utilized shapes from earlier lines, elegantly finished in glossy glazes of blue, yellow, pink, or ivory.
This lovely Arcadia vase features a densely molded rendering of leaves and berries glazed in an ivory gloss glaze.
This shape was originally produced in Weller’s “Clinton” ivory line of the early 1910’s, and can be seen in both finishes in Huxford’s “Collector’s Encyclopedia of Weller Pottery”, pages 124 and 337.
Attractive intricate pattern with leaves and berries or nuts.
It measures 7 3/4 inches tall by about 5 1/4 inches in diameter at the widest part.
