Vintage Cast Bronze/Brass Lizard PendantLobi or Gan/Burkina Faso

Wonderful figurative cast bronze African pendant, made by the Gan or Lobi peoples in Burkina Faso. Nice decorative image of a double headed lizard/serpant with side images (tails?). Large, 5” L x 2 3/4” W, for a strong statement look when strung on and worn with the 36” heavy brass chain.
Excellent condition with nice darker patina. I put a thin layer of “Renaissance Wax” on the necklace, a product I use that was developed by the British Museum, which not only protects the patina without changing the color, but will prevent any damage on clothes or skin from the bronze metal and/or patina. Castings are done in the lost process, with each piece done individually.
