This old Weller art pottery Ardsley - Iris handled basket is in wonderful condition with outstanding colours in the decoration of fine hand painted blue ris and green leaves  on this handled basket of fine art pottery. The base is marked with the stamp for "WELLER POTTERY" plus the artist or decorator mark of "G. 5.". Plus half kiln stamp for WELLER P0TTERY The footed handed basket is 12 1/2" tall and 10" wide.  The glaze is a satin finish, which is typical of this Weller, designed vase made in Zanesville, Ohio back in the 1920's period. The Ardsley - Iris  handled basket has NO hairlines, NO cracks, and in wonderful original condition.
