WELLER  POTTERY TURKIS CABINET VASE
DEEP BLOOD RED W/SEA GREEN DRIP GLAZE - RARE
This auction item is for a fabulous vintage vase by Weller Pottery.  Weller produced the Turkis line from the late 1920's to approximately 1933.   Signed Weller Pottery.
It is in PRISTINE condition!
This piece is known as a Turkis Cabinet Vase.  It is slightly larger than a typical cabinet vase.  It measures 6" high.  The opening is 4-1/2".  The circumference at its widest point is 21". The base is 3-1/8" across.
The deep blood red glaze covers the entire piece including the bottom.  Three stilt marks can be seen on the bottom.  The overglaze is a wonderful sea green with some pale yellow and applied in a "drip" style.  This vase also has 3 areas where the drip glaze was applied to the interior.
This item was donated to The Settlement Home for Children.
