CINCINNATI offers for sale an outstanding Weller Sicard 7 1/4" vase with a distinctive Art Nouveau with a scallops & swirls. Henri Gellie and Jacques Sicard worked and
developed the metallic vase finishes at Weller from 1901 to 1907 leaving behind a treasure of fabulous metallic art pottery.
This Sicard vase strikes a gorgeous form of purples, gold and reds.  This beauty is decorated with swirls  in a dramatic presentation.  It is glazed in a colorful rainbow of deep, rich iridized colors, which change with every turn of the vase.  The vase is signed "Weller" on the the bottom side
panel plus hand
painted "Sicard"
on the same side near the edge.  The 2 3/4" wide base is
marked with "
9
