Weller ~ Fruitone~ Vase Arts & Crafts/Mission Style Pink Green Blush Handled

$ 198

Availability: 100 in stock

Description

On offer is this antique example of Weller Fruitone.
Weller Pottery started in Ohio in 1872.  They introduced the Fruitone line  prior to the 1920's.    The company permanently closed in 1947.
The Fruitone line is easy to recognize as it often looks like the variegated, striated skin of an apple.
This piece features 3 handles.  One side of the piece is a pink blush on the bottom rising towards a sour apple green at the top.
The other sides are the sour apple color with striations of the pink blush.
The vase is approx. 5" high and 4.5" at it's widest point.
Fruitone looks great in an Arts and Crafts/Mission setting.
This would be a great addition to a Weller collection, or for anyone who loves the Arts and Crafts aesthetic.
I have described the areas of concern as well as I can.  Hopefully, I did not miss anything major.  I am not an expert, only a lover of art pottery.
If you have questions, or need more photos please let us know.
The vase will be mailed from our smoke free, pet free home.
